STEM Product Review: Lego BrickHeadz Easter Chick Plus #Giveaway!

Updated: May 20, 2020

Well STEM Sparkers, we're about to enter the season of spummer here at STEM Spark HQ. It's going to reach 100 degrees Fahrenheit by Saturday! We're lucky enough to have a pool in our backyard (roughly 1/3 of homes in the Phoenix area have pools), and Jack has already utilized our pool. Check out the boat he made (below) as part of utilizing our pool as a shelter at home activity!

While Jack has gone in the pool, I have only been able to supervise him from the top step of the pool; who knew 70 degree pool water was too cold for me? 😉 I am thankful that have we have the pool as a shelter at home activity, but I know many, many, many are not as fortunate to have this as an option. I'm sorry if some of you are still dealing with sprinter, and for those of you are also reaching high temps, hopefully you can cool off with the garden house. And hopefully knowing that you have a chance to win a Lego BrickHeadz Easter Chick, brightens your day in some small way. STEM Sparkers, I wish you nothing but the best right now; hang in there!

Oh yeah, so I'm not really feeling like giving a full review of this STEM product (I've got some work, worrying, and child rearing to do today). Here's the jest of what you need to know: it's cute, it occupies the kids for maybe 30 minutes, and of course it promotes the STEM skills of spacial reasoning and engineering/construction building. Use the Rafflecopter below to enter (or link here). US residents only please (International STEM Sparkers, I'm going to plan a giveaway soon for everyone on Earth); thank you!

Q: Did you hear about the chicken who could only lay eggs in the winter?

A: She was no spring chicken!

@ajw717, what a great idea with the Lego pieces in the eggs! I'll have to remember that for next time! And to all of you, glad to hear you're hanging in there! Take care and hugs!

We are staying home and not interacting with the public physically other than saying hi/waving on walks. We are doing well and are blessed that we still have income. Thank you for offering this chance for a fun activity.
