Updated: Dec 15, 2021

Jingle bell, jingle bell, jingle bell slime

Jingle bells chime in jingle bell slime Twisting and stretching on Jingle Bell slabs In the frosty lab

What a bright time, it's the right time To count with an aardvark Jingle bell slime is a swell time To go sciencing with Annie and STEM Spark

Alright now that that is out of my system, we recently did a holiday twist on classic slime by adding jingle bells, glitter and glitter stickers to the classic slime recipe listed below (hey Elmer's we used your recipe, so shameless plug for sponsorship! No? It's cool, I still like your glue).

You'll Need:

1/2 TBSP of baking soda

1/4 TBSP of contact lens solution

4 fl oz school glue (I recommend clear glue to better see the jingle bells in the slime)

Bowl

Spoon

Food Coloring optional

Instructions:

1. Find a bowl (or cup or plate) to mix your slime in.

2. Pour out the entire contents of a 4oz of school glue into the bowl.

3. Add the 1/2 TBSP of baking soda and 1/4 TBSP of contact lens solution.

4. Stir and knead it all together, and boom slime!

If you use the clear glue, as opposed to the classic white glue (which we used classic white and it was hard to see the jingle bells once you knead them in), you may need to adjust the baking soda and contact lens solution by small portions.

Now that you have classic slime made, you can add in the jingle bells, and really anything holly jolly festive. Watch as my elves and I add jingle bells to our slime (my face is priceless in assisting the elves, how does Santa do it, haha)!
