Happy E-Week STEM Sparkers! Founded by the National Society of Professional Engineers in 1951, EWeek (February 16–22, 2020) is dedicated to ensuring a diverse and well-educated future engineering workforce by increasing understanding of and interest in engineering and technology careers. Find out more here and here.
Jack and I celebrated Engineer's Week by taking yesterday off (his school was closed, so not much choice, haha) and visiting the Arizona Science Center. We had a really good time exploring all the STEM concepts the museum exhibits. Jack also helped me evaluate the Learning Resource City Engineering & Design Building Set. Since I'm visiting a classroom later this week (for EWeek) and juggling a few other things, our review of the Learning Resource City Engineering & Design Building Set is short: it's cool and fun! I will add it is a great toy for learning engineering.
And we're raffling off a set to one lucky STEM Sparker. US residents only please and use the Rafflecopter below (or Rafflecopter link here), thanks!
Hope everyone enjoys their week! Happy STEM-ing!
No plans as of yet.
I'm attending a local Engineers Week Banquet on Friday!
They have plan to do Toothpick tower with marshmallows in the local library!
My granddaughter says they celebrate E week in her stem class.
This looks totally awesome!
